ICIMOD Silver Jubilee Flag handed over

Apa Sherpa, the 17th times world record holder of Everest is expected to join the Eco Everest Expedition for the 18th time to the summit.
He was honoured as the Chief Guest at the Glacier Lake Outburst Flood Awareness Workshop which was held on 25 April in Namche. Organised as one of the events during the Eco Everest Research expedition, the workshop aimed to raise the awareness of the local community and organisations on the impacts of climate change in the Himalaya.
