Dig Tsho Lake

Finally, after six and half hours of walk through the ridges, valleys, steep trails (those were not even trails, most of the times the trails were where we walked)and huge boulders (trust me when I say those were not rocks), below and above active lanslides, the research team reache Dig Tsho glacial lake at an altitude above 4700 meters. Most of the team members were whistling instead of breathing by the time destiny Dig Tsho was met. The wind was pretty intense and sharp cutting our skins everytime it blew pass us.

The research team had to cover this for the loss of a day because of the cancellation of their flight to Lukla on 6th April. Reaching Dig Tsho was a bliss in its own way despite terrible headaches, fatigue, and cold chilly wind blowing from evey direction. The sight of the lake was beautiful in its own way but the surrounding sight were equally horrifying.
