Some news has just come in, a relief since the communication has been quite difficult. Dawa Steven spoke with Nonna (coordinator, ICIMOD 25 Years) on the phone.

The real puja (Buddhist religious ceremony) is taking place tomorrow (18th) at 12 p.m. at the Mount Everest Base Camp. The opening of the photo exhibition and the Information Centre will take place at the same time.

Team 2's Andreas, Verena and Milan are in Lobuche and doing well. They will leave for the Base Camp around 6 a.m. tomorrow.

Team 1 is headed for the Base Camp after their rest in Gorakshep. Birendra is trekking back to Namche and should be there this evening.
