Join the Eco Everest effort, and contribute directly to the initiatives!!

Eco Everest 2008 invites everyone to join in and support the cause. Individuals and organisations can help the local communities by contributing to the Trust Fund set up by Eco Everest Expedition 2008. The Trust will fund various local level activities including setting up early warning systems in Khumbu for potentially dangerous lake sites and further field-based monitoring and research studies. There are plans to remove waste from high altitude to the lower lands where there will be facilities for recycling or disposal.

Even a small contribution can help. For instance, waste clearance from the Base Camp can be done for US$1 for 1 kg of waste (in multiple of 10 kg).
